Description of the excursion Caves of Drach and East Area

After picking up our clients we proceed inland towards the town of Manacor, the second largest town in Mallorca, passing the village of Santa Margalida while the guide is giving you information on the tour itinerary and interesting local information.

On arrival in Manacor there will be a short visit to the pearl factory of Majorica where clients will have the opportunity to see the manufacturing process and learn the history of this emblematic Majorcan company. There is also a café and olive wood products exhibition and store where clients can see the wonderful patterns left by this gorgeous wood.

The visit to the Caves of Drach takes approximately 80 minutes. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy the classical music concert and cross the lake Martel in small wooden boats which is an experience unique in the world. Lake Martel is one of the largest subterranean lakes in the world.

In the East coast area of Mallorca we do a sightseeing tour stopping at the pretty Cala Mandia for a stroll. Clients will also have the opportunity to visit a defence watchtower from the 15th century. Both places make a great stop for taking memorable photos.

There is opportunity for lunch when we stop at the seaside fishing village of Porto Cristo (90 minutes), here the clients have free time to explore and the guide will recommend nice places to eat and local points of interest and the beach if clients wish to go for a refreshing swim.

The final part of the tour includes a stop at a local liqueur establishment, this is free of charge and the clients are invited to taste as many local liqueurs as they wish. These include the popular local specialities of hierbas and Palo.

A big thankyou to Tony and Xisco for helping to make our visit to Puerto Pollensa such a memorable one. Hubby and I took 3 tours with them, the coach, tram, boat, train and home again on the coach. Could have listened to these two guys talking all day as they have such attractive accents not to mention their sense of humour. We also went on the Rural Majorca trip, helping to buy the veggies etc at

We were in Majorca at the end of June and took this tour with No Frills. We also took the Pirates Adventure Show excursion. Both were truly fantastic and knocked the spots off any competition. Professional, punctual and a pleasure to travel with. The Pirates Show is certainly not just for children - the acrobatic abilities of the performers were amazing. The Caves of Drach and East Area was great and made even better by the attention to details and care and friendliness of not only Juan, the guide but also the equally friendly driver Xisco ~ what a team they made! As promised we would like to mention that Juan had his name incorrectly spelt on a review on Trip Advisor (Hotel Uyal) as Joan. He and Xisco were highly amused that we had conjured up the picture of a mummsy type English female guide only to be greated by a very Spanish Juan. Thanks for making our holiday excursions so memorable. We will certainly be back and recommend such a professional company to our friends.

Just a short email to thank your company for some brilliant excursions. We did the Island tour with Monica, Valdemossa & Lluc with Catalina and The Caves with Juan. All amazing guides. I bet Thomsons don't like you very much!!! we have done excursions with them in other resorts and all I can say is you are much better. Having local guides was fantastic and they were all so friendly. They must get fed up with the repetition but if they do they didn't let it show. I will giving you great comments on trip advisor and your site if there is the facility to do so. Once again thank you for making our holiday. Please pass on individual thanks to the guides,(Tell Catalina we are the couple who spotted the black vulture.) Best Wishes and thanks, Barbara Maynard.

We had a wonderful day out visiting the caves of drach...a big thank you to Juan our guide and our driver Xisco (i think - sorry if i got it wrong) who were both brilliant when my 9 year old daughter was travel sick...we were given the front seat, extra air conditioning, a bottle of cold water, and even a sweet each later on when she felt better! The caves were amazing and the tour of the surrounding area was an added bonus...can anyone tell us what the 4 star hotel in Cala Mandia was called that we drove past?!?...possible future holiday for us, if only we could remember the name!! We would definately go on another no frills tour...thank you again...Anna, Nick and Georgina

A short email to say how much my wife and I enjoyed the Island Tour & the Caves of Drach on 28th. & 29th.April respectively. We think you give excellent value for money. Your personal commentary is factual, informative and humourous. And what a superb driver we had in Xisco. He was a completely safe and considerate driver and obviosly takes pride in his ability. Clearly, you both want your clients to enjoy themselves. I also mention Ceri (?) She is the clients first introduction to No Frills and her friendly sales talk is not pushy but enthusiastic and she too portrays you want to give a quality service at a reasonable price. I will certainly recommend NoFrills to anyone visiting Puerto Pollensa/Alcudia and I take this opportunity to wish your company every success.

We had a great day with the caves being only a part of it! The rep Katrina was ace - a real character. The bus was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. The no frills experience really saved our holiday as the weather was terrible - the first storms in over 4 months started on our first day!! I found Alcudia was not my cup of tea at all, so we spent most of our time on trips from no frills. We were at the Western park, Son Amar, Drach, and Pirates; all of which went without a hitch and the company in my view is excellent. Good work, Scott from Sandhaven Aberdeenshire.

A varied day out, visited caves of drac, pearl factory, porto cristo and a liquor tasting factory. Beautiful beaches at porto cristo, and plenty of time for a swim or lunch. Caves of drac very good, a worthwhile experience. Juan, our tour guide was very friendly and amusing, entertained us whilst we were travelling. Quite expensive, but a good day out!

I recently went on 2 tours with your company - Valldemossa and Caves of the dragon - whilst on holiday in Puerto Pollens and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed them. The drivers were extremely careful and polite, coaches very comfortable and the guides were friendly and gave plenty of information throughout the tours. They were always happy, smiling people and nothing was any trouble for them. I thought we may have some short cuts, or things missed out, bearing in mind the name of your campany, but both tours added to my holiday experience. Thank you for that.
