Description of the Island Tour Excursion in Mallorca:
The Island Tour excursion consists of different parts: After picking up the clients the tour proceeds to the spectacular Tramuntana mountain range on the way to La Calobra where you can see the many views that this area has and take some great photographs.
We arrive at La Calobra where our clients have free time to relax and enjoy the dramatic views. We always make sure we arrive early so we can see La Calobra at its best, when is quiet and peaceful before the tour groups get there so that our clients can discover the Torrent de Paréis gorge at their leisure. After the visit to La calobra we board the boat to Puerto Soller The journey lasts 40 minutes and along the way you will see spectacular views that cannot be seen from the land.
The boat is exclusive for our clients so we don’t share it with any other travel agency meaning that our clients get the whole boat to themselves and can enjoy the passage in comfort. On arrival in Puerto de Soller you have free time, our guide can recommend a nice place to have lunch or you may wish to explore, the choice is yours.
After free time in Puerto Soller we take the Tramway along the sea front and up through the orange and lemon orchards to the town of Soller where there is time for a short visit before we board the Soller wooden train. This is the original journey and very little has changed in its 100 years of operation.
The train ride takes us through the valley of Soller through the tunnels in the mountains and through the countryside to the outskirts of Palma. Finally we board the coach at the station to take you back to resort.

Lunch is not included, but we stop at Puerto Soller where there is time for lunch.

My sister and I came on your Island Tour Sunday 11th May 2008 and just wanted to tell you how well you managed all of us - including the other tour - in such dreadful weather conditions. I happened to stand by a local man after you had shepherded us into the station at Soller, he was so upset for us all and thought it would tarnish our impression of Mallorca forever! Anyway, you managed to remain cheerful even if you were quaking at the knees. I have just looked at the weather there and it looks good - it's a grey rainy day here in England! Hi Tony my sister and I were on your Island tour on 17 September 2008........we really enjoyed the day and everywhere we were taken. We especially enjoyed having you as our guide with your great (almost English) sense of humour and your very informative commentary, which only a Mallorcan could give. As a nature lover and bird watcher I was so pleased to see the black vulture on cue over the mountains......my husband says he will come on holiday with us next time if you can guarantee a further sighting of it! On the trip you mentioned it was very unlikely to see a lizard or the like...................you may be interested to know that the next day in Palma I saw three bright green lizards in different places on and around the Cathedral and Palace walls.They could easily have been overlooked as leaves, but their movement gave them away. Many thanks to you and your team/colleagues for the lovely day out. If I visit Mallorca again I will certainly book any trips will you again Kind regards Alison Riches
