We pick you up at around 10:00 so you have time to sleep in and have breakfast without being in a hurry. Then we take you to the Aquarium of Palma, one of the biggest and most attractive in Europe with its different areas to discover the marine life and its inhabitants.
Explore the wonders of the Mediterranean Sea. Discover the beauty of living coral reefs. Escape to the tranquillity of hidden jungle streams. Voyage through the depths of the sea and be amazed by the wonderful vibrantly coloured tropical fish and sea creatures and be terrified by the huge sharks, swimming above your head as you walk through the tunnel aquarium.
Some of our favourites are: the touch pool aquarium; the big blue; Europe’s deepest aquarium. And also feeding time where you can witness the feeding of the turtles, sea rays and the hammerhead sharks and the sharks living in the big blue.
There’s also an entertainment team to keep the kids amused, as well as an authentic pirate ship and kids area. With us, you can go in and out of the Palma Aquarium as many times as you want with no extra charge. This means you also have time to stroll around Arenal or to go to the beach which is only 100 meters away from the Aquarium.

I went on this trip in August 2010 with my husband and 2 children. The coach picked us up right on time and it took us about an hour or so to get to the Aquarium (north to south of the island). Although our guide had limited English she made sure we were made aware of important information. We had about 4 hours to enjoy the aquarium and its best to take your time and enjoy the sights. It was a hot day when we went and i was glad i had worn a bikini top underneath my t-shirt as we spent as much time in the gardens of the aquarium as we did inside looking around the tanks. Initially, it is very dark inside so keep hold of your children! The darkness, however, makes you appreciate the beautiful colours of the varieties of fish - some very tiny. Indoors, there's an array of different species of sea creatures to admire and enjoy. Outside in the gardens there are more tanks with huge turtles, rays and hammer head sharks. My son was offered to dive into the ray tank for 10euro but he declined the offer. My kids found a fish pond and the fish quite happily swam around their hands in the water. There's also a pirate ship in the gardens for the younger children to play on and at certain times of the day pirates appear and play games and there's face painting and a mini disco. There's also a parrot show. Going back inside through "the jungle" was lovely. There's a waterfall and the spray from this was very cooling on a hot day. This led us to the big blue tank where the BIG sharks are. When we arrived the sharks/fish had just been fed and there were so many people we could barely see what was going on. In fairness though we were told by a guide in the aquarium to get there early. However, after a while the area cleared and we were able to take loads of pictures and enjoy the scenery and fish. We then went through to the jellyfish section which was very strange but beautiful! We went back outdoors again to have something to eat and have another walk around the gardens and then we visited the gift shop. It was a bit expensive but we didn't intend to buy anything anyway. My only advice is to buy a bottle of water before you go back outside to wait for your coach as its very hot and there's no shade unless you cross the road. All in all it was a wonderful experience and i would definitely do it again when im next in Majorca ... i.e. next year!!

On the last day of our holiday in Majorca me, mum and dad went on a trip to the aquarium. The journey up was quick and comfortable. The aquarium is amazing, my parents and I really enjoyed it. There was a whole range of interesting fish and sharks. The feedings were a little disapointing, we only watched for about 10 minutes then moved on. Our favourite part was going into Big Blue because there was this massive tank that could be viewed from all different angles and levels, they also provided a small amount of cushions so you could sit on the floor and just watch for as long as you want. The amount of time the company gave us was a great amount because it wasn't too long but we could still wander round without having to rush. I would definitely recommend this trip!
