Our day starts at 0830-0900 when we pick you up close to your hotel by coach. Then we take you to Palma Aquarium, one of the biggest and most attractive in Europe with different areas to discover the marine life and its other inhabitants.
Explore the wonders of the Mediterranean Sea. Discover the beauty of living coral reefs. Escape to the tranquility of hidden jungle streams. Voyage through the depths of the sea and be amazed by the wonderful vibrantly coloured tropical fish and sea creatures. Be terrified by the huge sharks, swimming above your head as you walk through the tunnel in the Big Blue.
We love the touch pool aquarium where kids can get up close and personal with the resident carps.
And also feeding time where you can witness the feeding of the turtles, sea rays and the hammerhead sharks living in the Big Blue, Europe's deepest shark tank.
There’s also an entertainment team to keep the kids amused, as well as an authentic pirate ship and kids play area.
With us, you can go in and out of the Palma Aquarium as many times as you want with no extra charge. This means you also have time to stroll around Arenal or to go to the beach which is only 100 meters away from Palma Aquarium.
Lisa from inmyshoestravel tells us on this post how the Palma Aquarium is!
The excursion starts around 08:30-09:00 and it ends at around 17:30.
The pick-up point and time is confirmed to you after you have made your booking. You will be picked up at your hotel or a nearby meeting point.

Visited the aquarium and what a beautiful place!! Just amazing, I recommend the shark boat tour, also the staff on the bus were amazing had a lovely girl who was very friendly and helpful with everything. Yes it was busy but it was a beautiful tourist attraction so what do you expect.
While on holiday in alcudia we booked a trip to the aquarium. The drive got is there safely and the tour guide 'Pete' was very knowledgable about Palma itself and all the attentions on the journey there. He shared various interesting facts with everyone on the coach and made the journey fun and enjoyable. Would recommend no frills if you are visiting near alcudia and want a fun interesting day out
We have used No Frills before for day trips to local attractions and always find the staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The Island tour is spectacular involving transportation by coach, boat, tram and train. Beautiful views, twisting roads, long tunnels, gentle cooling breezes and the scents of the orange and lemon trees all await you on this. To say nothing of an orange ice from Soller made from locally produced orange juice at the local ice cream makers establishment cool and refreshing. Marineland with dolphin sea lion and parrot shows and access to a private beach. Informing us what we can do to preserve these species on this plant of ours for future generations a good message for us all. Inca market the largest in Europe I am told with leather shops selling locally made leather goods. Bargains to be had especially if you are prepared to haggle never pay the price you are first quoted. Last but not least around 55 tanks of fish and coral at Palma aquarium. Watch out for the sharks in a massive tank containing many litres of water. A great day out for all air conditioned to keep you cool on a hot day and for the children ( and some adults too who wanted to join in the fun) the water fountains which were great to stand under and play amongst to keep cool. Don't forget the pirate show where you may get hit by a water bomb if you don't watch out! Each trip was accompanied by a knowledgeable guide giving background information on the battles, produce grown in the area and details of the various sculptures at the roundabouts and their significance expressed in an informative manner with added humour after all we are on holiday! Great trips, excellent staff and not to forget the drivers especially the one who took us round all the hair pin bends on the Island Tour with nerves of steel! I wouldn't want to drive it in my car never mind drive a long coach. Expect to see us again next year because we will defiantly book more trips with No Frills. Excellent value great fun and interesting information.
We booked an excursion to Palma Aquarium through our Hotel Reception who use and recommend No Frills. We thought the prices were reasonable and the pick up point was just around the corner so it was very handy. The bus to Palma was great- brand new and and didn't have too many stops on route. Pete was the guide and he was brilliant! He had the whole bus laughing at his witty jokes and had lots of interesting facts and pieces of information along the way. The bus was actually part of the fun because of him- he deserves recognition and really is a credit to the company! Palma Aquarium itself is very good- lots of exhibits both indoor and outdoor, shows, kids fun and Europes biggest shark tank! There was also time to visit the beach nearby which was great. No Frills have stalls and shops dotted throughout Alcudia and you can book through hotels too. I really recommend using No Frills, even if you're on a package holiday and your holiday operator has their own tours No Frills is a bit cheaper and is just as good if not better. An added bonus is that they don't try to sell you anything extra!!
We were a group of seven people who needed to get from Ca'n Picafort (Alcudia) to Palma Aquarium. As we were unsure of how to get there by public transportation, we called No Frills. They picked us up close to our villa, and our professional guide Pete shared his great knowledge throughout the bus ride, making the trip to and from the aquarium an adventure in itself! Well worth the money!
went on a trip to Aquarium and had a great day out and would recommend to anyone, our guide pete was a really nice guy and as he was a yorkshireman like myself his humour and knowledge were a plus to the trip, will use no frills again when we come back, many thanks to all
I went on this trip in August 2010 with my husband and 2 children. The coach picked us up right on time and it took us about an hour or so to get to the Aquarium (north to south of the island). Although our guide had limited English she made sure we were made aware of important information. We had about 4 hours to enjoy the aquarium and its best to take your time and enjoy the sights. It was a hot day when we went and i was glad i had worn a bikini top underneath my t-shirt as we spent as much time in the gardens of the aquarium as we did inside looking around the tanks. Initially, it is very dark inside so keep hold of your children! The darkness, however, makes you appreciate the beautiful colours of the varieties of fish - some very tiny. Indoors, there's an array of different species of sea creatures to admire and enjoy. Outside in the gardens there are more tanks with huge turtles, rays and hammer head sharks. My son was offered to dive into the ray tank for 10euro but he declined the offer. My kids found a fish pond and the fish quite happily swam around their hands in the water. There's also a pirate ship in the gardens for the younger children to play on and at certain times of the day pirates appear and play games and there's face painting and a mini disco. There's also a parrot show. Going back inside through "the jungle" was lovely. There's a waterfall and the spray from this was very cooling on a hot day. This led us to the big blue tank where the BIG sharks are. When we arrived the sharks/fish had just been fed and there were so many people we could barely see what was going on. In fairness though we were told by a guide in the aquarium to get there early. However, after a while the area cleared and we were able to take loads of pictures and enjoy the scenery and fish. We then went through to the jellyfish section which was very strange but beautiful! We went back outdoors again to have something to eat and have another walk around the gardens and then we visited the gift shop. It was a bit expensive but we didn't intend to buy anything anyway. My only advice is to buy a bottle of water before you go back outside to wait for your coach as its very hot and there's no shade unless you cross the road. All in all it was a wonderful experience and i would definitely do it again when im next in Majorca ... i.e. next year!!
On the last day of our holiday in Majorca me, mum and dad went on a trip to the aquarium. The journey up was quick and comfortable. The aquarium is amazing, my parents and I really enjoyed it. There was a whole range of interesting fish and sharks. The feedings were a little disapointing, we only watched for about 10 minutes then moved on. Our favourite part was going into Big Blue because there was this massive tank that could be viewed from all different angles and levels, they also provided a small amount of cushions so you could sit on the floor and just watch for as long as you want. The amount of time the company gave us was a great amount because it wasn't too long but we could still wander round without having to rush. I would definitely recommend this trip!
