my husband jason and myself and our two children were picked up from playa garden hotel in alcudia on thurs 6th august 09. we had a lovely man named pete look after us he was funny his knowledge was excellent and gave us lots of usefull tips which came in very handy his driver was the lovely gorgeus george the trip was fantastic well worth the money we had a fantastic day out i would highly recommend this company and will use them again when we go back to majorca thanks pete and george for a great day out.

My daughter (aged 10) and I took the NoFrills Marineland and House of Katmandu tour on Sunday 8th August. Our guide, Michael was fantastic. He offered lots of interesting and informative information about the island of Mallorca throughout the journey; historical info, agricultural, economic and general info. It was informative, interesting and entertaining. His running commentary on the journey made the bus ride much more enjoyable. The outing to Marineland was lovely and well worth a visit, although the food/drink there is expensive and it is a good idea to pack a picnic. I would definitely recommend spending a day there, as it has a beach exclusively for the patrons of Marineland to use. The dolphin show is fabulous and the parrot show is very funny. Marineland is not big but it is very nice and there is also a splash pool for the children - so remember your bathing suits!! The House of Katmandu in the afternoon was a good way to spend a couple of hours but I would not recommend taking a full day trip for just that as you really only need maybe an hour and a half at the most. And it is not really suitable for younger children as it is a little bit scary in places. The Katmandu diner is quite expensive and the food is not that good. All that said, our driver on the tour, Samuel, was also very pleasant and he and Michael had a very good rapport. I look forward to going back to Pto. Pollensa next year with my family and I will definitely be trying out some other trips that NoFrills offer. I hope that I will be on a tour that has Michael as our guide again, he is the perfect tour guide as far as me and my daughter are concerned!
