Please bear in mind that there are two different itineraries depending on the day you choose to visit the Caves of Drach. Independently of the day you decide to take the trip the tour around the Caves of Drach themselves is always the same:
The visit has a duration of approximately 80 minutes. You will follow the route through the caves, marvelling as each cavern gets bigger and more impressive as you progress. The highlight of your visit will be enjoying the classical music concert inside the Caves of Drach and crossing Lake Martel's spectacular waters in a small wooden boat. This boat ride is a unique experience in the world and is included in the price. Lake Martel is one of the largest subterranean lakes that exist. During the visit you will also witness a magical light show that recreates the sunrise.
If you opt on taking part on a Monday you will visit the Caves of Drach and Porto Cristo:
Once everybody is on board our coach we proceed inland towards the town of Manacor, the second largest town in Mallorca. On our way we will be passing small traditional villages, which are very different to the tourist resort, such as Santa Margalida. Throughout the journey our guide will share useful and interesting information about the tour's itinerary as well as giving you an insight into the local culture .
On arrival in Manacor there will be a 40 minutes visit to the Majorica pearl factory. There you will have the opportunity to see the rigourous pearl manufacturing process and learn about the history of one of Majorca's most emblematic companies. While there you will also be able to purchase goods at outlet prices. The perfect remembrance for you or your dearest ones from your holiday in Mallorca.
The visit to the Caves of Drach will then take place as stated above.
On the East Coast area of Mallorca we will make a short photo stop at a defensive watchtower from the 16th century where you can take memorable photos and have fun learning about the pirates of Mallorca.
You will have time for lunch when we stop at the seaside fishing town of Porto Cristo (90 minutes). Here you have free time to explore, relax, eat and enjoy its beach. Lunch is not included but the guide will recommend nice places to eat and local points of interest. Also, if you wish to you can go for a refreshing swim in Porto Cristo's stunning turquoise waters or simply sunbathe on the beautiful sandy beach.
To round off such a great day, the final part of the tour includes a stop at a local liqueur establishment (30 minutes). There, free of charge, you will be treated to taste as many local liqueurs, with flavours that go from herbal to berries, as you wish. These include the popular local specialities of Hierbas and Palo which are a must when trying the liqueurs.
If you opt on taking part on a Wednesday you will visit the Caves of Drach and Sineu Market:
Once everybody is onboard we will make our way through the island's inland towards the picturesque village of Sineu. There we will be stopping for about 1 hour so that you can stroll around what is Mallorca's oldest market. There you will be able to see everything you can imagine being sold, from fruit and vegetables to live animals!
Then it will be time to head, again through inland roads to Manacor.
While we are on the East Coast area of Mallorca we will make a short photo stop at a defensive watchtower from the 16th century where you can take memorable photos and have fun learning about the pirates of Mallorca.

We recently went on this excursion with Juan, Fernando and Henry. It was a great day out, Juan regaled us with stories and information about the area we were passing through. The kids in our party loved the day as well, ending up thoroughly worn out after a great day out.
Second time we have used No Frills and it was just as good this time around. Great value for money, very user friendly and Cati our tour guide was brilliant - oh and the caves were just amazing as well. So thanks for a great day out, will definitely use you again!
Having used No Frills for trips previously we booked Rural Mallorca and got exactly what was advertised as we have come to expect from this excellent company. Michael and Cisco made this excursion fun, relaxing and very informative. The barbecue lunch was most enjoyable too. Would not hesitate to use No Frills for future visits and recommend their services to other holiday makers. Visited May 2015
Fantastic value for money excursion. Top driver Xisco and guide Juan along with Henry the elephant made the day special. First stop the pearl factory with free gifts for the kids. Caves of Drach are quite spectacular. Next stop Porto Cristo for a relaxing hour and a half. Lovely little town. Final stop the liqueur factory with lots of free tasters - very nice!! If you only do one trip on your holiday, it has to be this one x Visited May 2015
We visited the Caves of Drach with the lovely Juan. I had heard him mentioned in reviews when researching whether to use No Frills. Juan was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the journey there and back pleasant and interesting with some local stories and history. He built up the caves before you got there so you knew what to look out for when in there. He takes photos during the trip and uploads them to facebook which is a really nice touch as we got a few extra photos of us together. Thank you Juan we had a lovely time and would happily use No Frills again! Visited May 2015
We went on the day trip to the Caves of Drach on the 25th May. Had a fantastic time with Xisco our driver and Juan the tour guide. Juan was very entertaining and kept us laughing throughout the day as well as being very informative about the areas we travelled around. The tour itself was great and definitely one to book. The caves are stunning and well worth the visit alone however the stops to the watch tower, pearl factory and liqueur tasting made the day complete. Visited May 2015
We went on the caves of drach trip with nofrills, a most enjoyable day. The guide, juan, and the driver, pedro, were both very friendly. Juan impressed us with his stories and knowledge as we travelled across the island and was excellent throughout the day. The caves were spectacular and we also enjoyed the other stops before and after. Would highly recommend this trip, was definitely value for money. I'd also go on another trip with nofrills again if I ever return to Majorca. Visited June 2015
Having seen quite a few reviews on here for this company I decided to a book a tour to the Caves of Drach with them. The company name was a bit off putting to me, but I needn't have worried. The booking was simple and the office was easily found if needed. Katy (the guide) and Chisco (the driver) were great, friendly, welcoming and amusing. There were a few minor stops included in the tour and the "biggest coach in Mallorca" was comfortale and clean. I would recommend this company, even with this name there were no corners cut. An absolutely brilliant day out. Visited June 2015
We booked an excursion to visit The Caves of Drach on 04/06/15. Juan our tour guide and Xisco our driver made us feel like they were two friends taking us to all their favourite places on the island. In addition to The Caves of Drach they took us to the Majorica Pearl Factory, Porto Cristo for lunch and to a Liqueur/Gift store on the way home. They stopped for photo opportunities and really made children feel part of the day with the help of Henry the elephant. We would highly recommend this excursion thank you Juan and Xisco for a lovely day. Visited June 2015
Loved the Caves of Drach tour 25/6/15. I went with my Mum, and two boys aged 16 and 9 and we all had a ball. Juan was an excellent tour guide and Xisco a great driver. They kept us entertained all day. The name No frills excursions doesn't sound promising but it was probably the best coach trip I have ever been on. Having water available on board at a very good price was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend them. Thank you Juan and Xisco x Visited June 2015
