Please bear in mind that there are two different itineraries depending on the day you choose to visit the Caves of Drach. Independently of the day you decide to take the trip the tour around the Caves of Drach themselves is always the same:
The visit has a duration of approximately 80 minutes. You will follow the route through the caves, marvelling as each cavern gets bigger and more impressive as you progress. The highlight of your visit will be enjoying the classical music concert inside the Caves of Drach and crossing Lake Martel's spectacular waters in a small wooden boat. This boat ride is a unique experience in the world and is included in the price. Lake Martel is one of the largest subterranean lakes that exist. During the visit you will also witness a magical light show that recreates the sunrise.
If you opt on taking part on a Monday you will visit the Caves of Drach and Porto Cristo:
Once everybody is on board our coach we proceed inland towards the town of Manacor, the second largest town in Mallorca. On our way we will be passing small traditional villages, which are very different to the tourist resort, such as Santa Margalida. Throughout the journey our guide will share useful and interesting information about the tour's itinerary as well as giving you an insight into the local culture .
On arrival in Manacor there will be a 40 minutes visit to the Majorica pearl factory. There you will have the opportunity to see the rigourous pearl manufacturing process and learn about the history of one of Majorca's most emblematic companies. While there you will also be able to purchase goods at outlet prices. The perfect remembrance for you or your dearest ones from your holiday in Mallorca.
The visit to the Caves of Drach will then take place as stated above.
On the East Coast area of Mallorca we will make a short photo stop at a defensive watchtower from the 16th century where you can take memorable photos and have fun learning about the pirates of Mallorca.
You will have time for lunch when we stop at the seaside fishing town of Porto Cristo (90 minutes). Here you have free time to explore, relax, eat and enjoy its beach. Lunch is not included but the guide will recommend nice places to eat and local points of interest. Also, if you wish to you can go for a refreshing swim in Porto Cristo's stunning turquoise waters or simply sunbathe on the beautiful sandy beach.
To round off such a great day, the final part of the tour includes a stop at a local liqueur establishment (30 minutes). There, free of charge, you will be treated to taste as many local liqueurs, with flavours that go from herbal to berries, as you wish. These include the popular local specialities of Hierbas and Palo which are a must when trying the liqueurs.
If you opt on taking part on a Wednesday you will visit the Caves of Drach and Sineu Market:
Once everybody is onboard we will make our way through the island's inland towards the picturesque village of Sineu. There we will be stopping for about 1 hour so that you can stroll around what is Mallorca's oldest market. There you will be able to see everything you can imagine being sold, from fruit and vegetables to live animals!
Then it will be time to head, again through inland roads to Manacor.
While we are on the East Coast area of Mallorca we will make a short photo stop at a defensive watchtower from the 16th century where you can take memorable photos and have fun learning about the pirates of Mallorca.
And then, to round off the trip, the highlight of the day, the visit to the Caves of Drach which takes place as stated above.

A very relaxed yet fun atmosphere to see some of Majorca. We enjoyed the Drach Caves excusion. Juan was an excellent guide, funny and informative and Chisco completed amazing feats with the bus. Highly recommended.
Excellent value for money 40 euros. The tour guide Juan was very humorous but very informative on each area we visited. The only downside of the trip was waiting for other passengers to turn up at the right time!!!. Apart from that all good.
Lovely day out for 40euros. great guide called Juan/john. plenty to do. Not good for less able people due to plenty of steps but that is at the caves themselves (entrance fee included). Would recommend this
I booked 6 tickets for a tour with No Frills centred on the East Coast of Mallorca, visiting Porto Cristo and the Cuevas Del Drach. It was an absolutely brilliant day out. We were collected from our hotel at 9 am and after a few more pick ups we set off towards an outlet centre selling Leather and Majorica Pearls. On the way, Jaime the guide told us about the history and geography of the island in Spanish, English and German and was fascinating throughout. In English he was pretty much fluent as he appeared to be in German and he made the journey almost more interesting than the destinations. Some of our number had booked two cave visits but we booked one and opted for two hours in Porto Cristo which was a lovely fishing village. If you go, can I suggest the Falcon's Tower which is about a 20 minute walk from the main harbour. The views across the Mediterranean are superb especially for the braver ones who climb up into the tower! The afternoon consisted of a trip to the Caves and a final stop at an outlet centre selling local goods made from olive wood. With all the information given by Jaime a trip that included these outlet trips didn't seem incongruous or irritating which is quite a feat. I would unhesitatingly recommend the firm and will definitely look to take another trip to another destination when we return to Mallorca.
As first time visitors to Mallorca (Porto Pollenca) my wife and I booked 2 trips with No Frills. The first trip to the Caves was a magical day with Juan, our very knowledgeable guide. Plenty of photo's taken and a very pleasant drive through towns and villages that we would never have seen otherwise. As we enjoyed the trip so much we booked the Island tour 2 days later. What a way to see the Island!! The drive through the mountains and down the mountain road to La Calobra needs to be experienced! The boat trip, tram ride and train trip were all timed so that we had a little time to shop, drink and eat. All the No Frills staff were a credit to the company and we both look forward to our return to this beautiful Island for more trips. I can't recommend this company high enough and have told friends to use them when they visit Porto Pollenca in June.
Money well spent. We booked this excursion because my wife had visited when she was a child. We were picked up and dropped off from our appartment. The local tour guide Juan was fluent in English German and Spanish and gave a knowledgeable interesting and at times funny commentary during the journey. Our 7 and 8 year old boys were amused by the company's mascot Henry the elephant who accompanied Juan ever where. The caves did not let us down. It was an experience not to be forgotten and included a short classical concert and a ride on a boat across an underground lake. On the way we saw some amazing coastal views and visited pearl and olivewood souvenir workshops. On our return we visited a liquor vendor and we're able to sample a range of local liqueurs.
We had an amazing day with No Frills. The trip started with a tour of a Pearl factory, which was OK, but only there for 45 minutes. Very overpriced for alcohol souvenirs. There was a small park next door with dinosaurs in garden so we went and had a look at that instead. Caves of Drach was amazing, could have done with another 30 minutes or so, didn't miss anything, just didn't get time for the Gift Shop. Went to Porto Cristo for lunch, lovely seaside town with harbour. Food and drink quite pricey compared to Alcudia, but well worth it. Last stop at Ceramic and alcohol tasting shop. A good excuse for a few shots if you're that way inclined. Alcohol overpriced, some double to what was being charged in shops in Alcudia, so shop around! Back to strip by 5ish. Great day, well worth it!!
Just returned from a week in Cala san Vincente Majorca and felt compelled to leave a review. Two trips one word fantastic. Our guides, Juan and Catileena, made the days most enjoyable and fun. Felt they were our friends and were doing their job because they genuinely enjoy it. Lots of laughter and brilliant information. We used to go on excursions when one holiday, but gave up doing so because we felt like we were being herded around. These excursions do not make you feel like this, and have restored my faith in doing more in the future. Easy, i booked on line and the whole process was easy. Good value for money, and would recommend anyone to use them.
