Join us at Nofrills Excursions on our unique full day trip to the valley of Soller and Valldemossa. This trip will take us first to the spectacular Valley of Soller famous for its splendid orange and lemon groves as well as its quaint original tram ride which is included in the price. Visiting these areas will allow you to discover the island's most natural beauty, making you fall in love with the precious landscapes you will be witnessing through out the day.
We will arrive in Soller Valley at around 10:30. First we will visit the Port of Soller where you will have about one hour free time so that you can stroll around and explore this charming natural port.
At around 11:30 we will take the tram to go to the old village of Soller where you can take a pleasant walk to see the most important landmarks of the village such as the main square, Can Prunera Museum, Soller's modernist-style bank, the church of Soller and many more interesting places.
You will also have time to relax in Soller as you enjoy an orange juice or an orange ice cream both a must in this valley famous for its delicious oranges.
If you like art, you can also have a look at the Picasso Ceramic Museum. We will be staying in Soller for about 90 minutes and there will be enough time for lunch (not included). In the town of Soller you will find a wide range of cafes and restaurants where you can eat anything from typical Mallorcan dishes, a menu of the day or just a quick bite.
After Soller, we board the coach for a delightful sightseeing ride through the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range which has been named world heritage site and is protected by UNESCO. We will pass the picturesque towns of Llucalcari and Deia. Have your camera ready because the day is not over yet, as our final stop is the pretty town of Valldemossa.
In Valldemossa you can stroll through the peaceful cobbled streets or relax and enjoy a coffee while you devour one of the local delicacies such as the 'coca de patatas' (small potato-based sponge cake) as at this time of the day we usually have the charming town to ourselves. You can join our guide for a relaxed walk around the streets or visit at your own pace the Carthusian Monastery and the famous composer Chopin's House (entrances are not included in the price).
We will be in Valldemossa for about an hour and half, and then our coach will take us back to resort.
We have created a thoughtful itinerary for you to make sure that you have the opportunity to visit these 3 stunning places in a day, combining tram and bus.
The excursion starts at 09:00 and ends at around 17:45.
The pick-up point and time are confirmed to you after you have made your booking. You will be picked up at your hotel or a nearby meeting point. Once you make the reservation you will receive two emails:
We were on hols in Alcudia in early June, our on our second last day we took this trip, must say Juan was excellent tour guide, as we are from Ireland I must say the way all English speaking were on one bus was excellent, Highly recommend this tour and this company is a must use . We will be coming back again no doubt and definitely will use them for more of the same. Must say the choice of trips and their prices are the best we have come across in a long time.
Thank you to Juan, our guide, and Cisco the driver for a great trip last Saturday. We went to Port Soller, Then Soller by tram and finally to the delightful little town of Valdemossa. No Frills went to a great deal of trouble to provide this particular excursion for us as the Iron Man Competition had closed a large number of roads on Saturday so a lot of special organisation was needed. Other companies did not even attempt to run trips that day. We had a great guide with lots of information including places to eat where a discount was provided. Great organisation and pleasant supervision. Thank you No Frills we have travelled with you before and definitely will again and we have never been disappointed. Visited May 2015
We went from Porto Pollensa to Soller and Vallemossa on Saturday 9th May. This was the day of the 'Iron Man' competition and all the roads in Porto were closed by the police for the event. Juan and the No Frills team had worked very hard with the police to gain special permission to travel and were the only tour company allowed to operate out of Porto Pollensa on that day. Both Juan and our Driver Francisco were nothing short of EXCELLENT, I cannot recommend them highly enough, this was the most enjoyable day of our holiday thanks to their efforts. Juan was very knowledgeable with regard to his Island and was informative, helpful and everything was delivered with a lovely sense of humour. I suffer with circulation problems and walking is not easy for me. Unfortunately, due to a fiesta in Soller, no taxis were available that day for the walk back to the coach. Juan could not have been more kind, concerned and considerate. There were a lot of people on that excursion who were older and seemed to be more infirm than me, I wouldn't have blamed Juan at all if he had pointed that out and told me to 'get on with it'. He did no such thing and made sure I was OK, giving me every encouragement. The company shouldn't be called 'No Frills' - should be 'None of the expense - ALL the frills'. VERY MANY THANKS and wouldn't book with anyone else! Visited May 2015
We booked this trip as we had used this Company before and found the whole experience very enjoyable. This time Soller and Valldemossa. Catalina was our guide and Pedro our driver, both very good, driving around the 'bendy bendy' mountain roads with ease and comentary both interesting and funny.Itiniary for both locations allowed us enough free time, and the tram ride from Port de Soller to Soller was a familiar treat again. It was soo hott on that day (Tues 12th May) the temperature on the Farmicia sign said 39c in the centre of Soller.... Valldemossa was lovely and quaint.so many trees and flowers. We did not go into the Church or the museum. Visited May 2015
Visited May 2015
DANKE nochmal ❤ Visited May 2015
We had a great day with this company, tour guide Katja was witty and informative. The places we visited were gorgeous and the whole day was well worth the money. They even sell chilled water on the bus which we thought was a great idea. The only reason we gave it 4 stars was that we were the first to be picked up and the last to be dropped off which made it a very long day, I think you should think about reversing it on the way back to make it fair for everyone. Thank you so much no frills, keep up the great work!!! Visited June 2015
Our tour was with Dori, who is friendly, funny, very knowledgeable and conscientious. The tour was very well thought out but unfortunately, I would not recommend it purely because I found Valldemossa and Soller boring. Beautiful but boring. In Valldemossa, do not visit the monastery - it's soooo boring! Visit the wonderful church in Soller instead, far nicer. Visited June 2015
This is the fourth time we have used this tour operator in Mallorca during the last two years. They offer good value for money tours with experienced guides. If we looking for a safe reliable way to visit a place on Mallorca our first chioce wuold be "No-frills". This year we chose a full day visit to Soller & Valldemossa in the west coast mountain area. Once again we were not dissapointed, our guide Cati and the driver Pedro were a formidable pair, having this kind of service makes all the difference. Visited June 2015
