The Island Tour excursion will keep you charmed all day thanks to its different parts: road, sea and rails, with plenty of free time in between. You will be taken down the spectacular west coast of Mallorca where you will see some of the most breathtaking views in the Mediterranean. There you will discover the UNESCO protected Serra de Tramuntana mountain range with our knowledgeable guide who will be giving you interesting information on the towns and sights we come across during the day.
Once everybody has been picked up by coach the tour proceeds to the stunning Tramuntana Mountain Range where we can enjoy the views that this area offers as we drive along the breathtaking and much photographed mountain road to Sa Calobra where you will be able to take some great photographs.
Then we will arrive at Sa Calobra where you will have free time to relax and enjoy the dreamy landscape. We always make sure we arrive early so we can see Sa Calobra at its best, when it's quiet and peaceful before other tour groups get there. This means that our clients can discover the Torrent de Paréis gorge at their leisure before the bustle begins.
After the visit to Sa Calobra we will board a modern boat that will take us to Puerto Soller. The journey by boat has a duration of approximately 40 minutes and along the way you will see spectacular views of this dramatic coastline that cannot be seen from the land.
On arrival in Puerto de Soller you will have have free time to explore, relax and have some lunch. Our guide can recommend a nice place for you to have lunch or you can stroll around looking for a place of your liking.
Once everybody has unwound and has had something to eat in Puerto Soller we will take the tram along the sea front and up through the orange and lemon orchards to the town of Soller where we will have time for a short visit around its charming historical centre before we board the famous Soller wooden train. We will follow the original journey which has barely changed in its 100 years of operation.
The train ride will take us across the impressive valley of Soller as we go through the tunnels in the mountains and the countryside until we reach the outskirts of Palma. There our coach will be awaiting us to head back to resort.
Lunch is not included, but we stop at Puerto Soller where there is time for lunch and a wide selection of cafes and restaurants.
The excursion starts between 08:30-09:00 and it comes to an end at about 17:30-18:00.
The pick-up point and time are confirmed to you after you have made your booking. You will be picked up at your hotel or a nearby meeting point. Once you make the reservation you will receive two emails:
Went on the Island Tour this week and really enjoyed it. Saw parts of Majorca we wouldn't have seen without this tour, it was a fab day! Our guide Juan was great - funny and informative! Would highly recommend it.These were the best days of our holiday so it was money well spent. Would book with them again.
We did this tour as a party of 4 on 16th September 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip it is a great way to see this beautiful island. Our tour guide (Juan) was very good and made us all chuckle. A very special thanks also to our very experienced driver Tony? who negotiated the very bendy roads to Sa Calobra with ease. This is a lovely trip and well worth the money, great value. The only downside is that I would have liked a little longer in each place, apart from that really enjoyed our day, Thank you Juan for entertaining us. Would recommend.
Just returned from the island tour which included boat , tram and train trips . Very informative guide Juan gave an interesting informative narration during the day . He looked after us very well during the day . I would heartily recommend no frills to any one looking for a day trip on the island . Much cheaper than main tour operators on a very clean modern coach driven very skilfully bu Pedro . Visited October 2015
We took the island tour which takes in Pollenca, and the Tramuntera road to Sa Calobra. From there we were taken by boat to Port Soller then by tram to the town of Soller. Then by rail to Just outside Palma where we rejoined the coach to Alcudia. The scenery was spectacular and the guide very informative. Soller in particular was outstanding. Don't forget your camera if you do this trip. Visited October 2015

This trip starts at8-45 and finishes at 5-30 thats a nice day out .Thanks to Duncan at no frills . Visited October 2015
We both enjoyed this excurtion very much last Sunday :-) x
Great day trip starting with a trip through the mountains a bit scary in places but well worth it. Then its on to colobra where you take a boat round to soller, you stop here for lunch and a look round lovely little town. Next a trip on the old tram to the train station where you go to meet your last trip of the day, a trip on the train down to near palma to meet the coach to take you back to your drop off. Special mention to our guide Juan and driver who were very funny double act
We had a trip out with No Frills coach tours on their Island Tour taking in a coach ride through the mountains to La Calebra where we took a boat trip along the coast to Soller, had lunch and then a train ride to Palma where we met up with our coach again. We cannot say enough about what a fabulous time we had. Our courier Caterina (Kate) and driver Francesco were exceptional, knowledgeable and really good fun too. If we had been staying longer,we were only there for a week, we would have definitely have gone on their Porto Christo/Caves of Drach Tour too - but ah well - next time hopefully! Thank you No Frills - it made our holiday!
We were only in Majorca for 1week so only wanted one trip. We booked the Island tour via the Internet once here. We were collected from outside our resort at 0845. Travelled by coach up the mountains stopping to see spectacular views. Zig zagged our way back down to La Calobra where we had a light lunch before embarking onto the boat to take us 40 mins to Port de Soller. This was a very pretty marine where we then had a chance to shop until we caught the tram to the town of Soller. This boasts a picturesque center with a church built by the same architect as the cathedral in Barcelona. Here we boarded an olde worldie train dating back to 1912. The train ride took 50 mins to take us back to the south of the island via the mountain range. Here the coach was waiting to take us back to our resort. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.
What a great day. So much seen in one day. We travelled by coach, boat, tram and train and saw so much. Our guide Dori and our driver Pedro were great and so friendly. I wouldn't fancy driving around the crazy hairpin bends in the mountains with such big drops outside but Pedro managed it like a true pro. The day trip was well worth the money and we would highly recommend it.
