Our PalmaBus is fantastic value for money as it includes: return transport, guide on the coach, free map, panoramic tour and plenty of free time to explore and enjoy Palma to the fullest.

PalmaBus excursion overview:

With this excursion we will give you the opportunity to discover the city of Palma de Mallorca, capital of the Balearic Islands in the most hassle-free and comfortable way. You will be able to make the most out of your day thanks to all the useful information our guide will share with you during the journey. Enjoy a full day of shopping and sightseeing with No Frills Excursions as you get an insight into Mallorca's rich and interesting culture.

What to expect on the tour:

On the way to Palma, our guide will give you valuable and interesting information as well as a map of Palma City so that you can plan the day ahead in the most comfortable way, on our air conditioned coach. Our guide will give you the best suggestions for sightseeing and shopping in Palma so that all that's left for you to do is to decide how you want to spend your day and enjoy.

Once we get to Palma, we will stay on the coach and make an interesting sightseeing tour (approx 60 minutes). We will pass the habour, the cruise port and Palma Cathedral, with a 20 minutes stop at the San Carlos Castle from where we can enjoy spectacular views of Palma’s port. (Please note that on Mondays, as the castle is closed, there is no stop there.)

Once we have seen Palma's most important sights, we will drop you off opposite the cathedral, which is a five minute walk from the shopping area and Palma's historical area. From this moment you have more than four and a half hours of free time to explore the old town, visit the cathedral or go shopping. Shopping in Palma is a great experience as you have a wide selection of shops that range from luxurious boutiques to large department stores and well-known retailers.

As you also have time for lunch in the city we suggest that you don't miss out on the opportunity to savour some typical Spanish and Mallorcan food. Therefore we recommend visiting La Lonja, the tapas area in Palma de Mallorca and the old fisherman’s port.

This excursion was voted as the best value for money day out last year by our customers who said to have got their money's worth with an unbeatable service.

Upgrade your Palmabus excursion:

We also offer a more complete option to visit Palma, which includes all the above plus a 45 minutes guided walk with a licensed guide, entrance to the cathedral and a 45 minutes guided visit with live comentary in the cathedral:

You can also add to this same Palmabus excursion, a 60 minutes boat trip in the Port of Palma:

  • Please have in mind that if you are staying in Puerto Pollensa we only pick up there on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In Cala San Vicente only on Monday and Friday.

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip to Palma. Lovely city taking in the old town and shopping. Tour guide (Lorenzo) spoke German & English, was very helpful, pleasant and informative about the area. Well worth the money. Visited October 2015

The Palma day bus was full- we had only 2/7 dry, sunny days so a trip out was much needed. I'm a bit of a culture/history buff and was highly impressed with Lorenzo, our tour guide for the trip. Every bit of information was relevant, timely - as in when approaching places of interest - and through the trip - not just when we got to Palma. consequently we found out more about Majorca and its history. How on earth the driver kept to the timings is beyond me - but he did and that included showing us the drop-off and pick up points, a tour around the centre to help us get our bearings and down to the cathedral and up to the castle for a photo stop. We had a choice of drop-offs which was great as you could choose depending on the type of day you wanted. Another reviewer said they were dropped off at a large store and left - the store is the biggest and close to an island from which you can aim for the shops, the cathedral/museums etc - maybe some explanation was missed on that person's tour. However Palma is very busy so you do need to have a map or guide. Lorenzo gave several people advice and used the map provided to show us how to get around. I would highly recommend the Palma day bus tour, if you get Lorenzo as your guide you will have an excellent experience and all the advice you need to get to see as much as you can.

We travelled on the Palma bus excursion and the trip was great. After pick ups from various hotels around Pollensa, Jenny, our guide, spoke about the island on the way to Palma. We arrived around 12pm and then had five hours free time to explore the city. We decided to do the free tour walk (which was also amazing) from playa espana. We then explored the shopping and various cafe's until we were picked up. The tour was just right, we were offered a choice of boat trips, walks, shopping and in the end we enjoyed doing our own thing. Recommend no frills gladly.

Went on the Palma trip .Left on time and our guide was brilliant. No hard selling of things we didn't want like on other operators. Had loads of time to explore the old town using the free map given on the bus. This trip was good value much cheaper than the Thompson one. Will definitely be using again.

We went on this trip to Palma eventhough we have been on it before. Had 4 of our group who wanted to visit Palma. And this trip is really good value for money. You get some local information about the things you see on the Way to Palma. And you have time alone in Palma, about 4,5 hour, wich leaves time to shop, eat and sightseeing. Jeannine Was our guide, and she Was really Nice, and easy to understand in both german and english.

  • This was our 1st time on Majorca and didn't know where to visit . After strolling round the resort of Can Picafort we came across the No Frills rep. We had a look through the brochure and decided on Caves of Drach , Palma ,and the Island tour . All 3 were great , the tour guides gave information from the moment we boarded the bus until leaving . The island tour was our favourite and loved Soller if we ever came back it would definitely be a place to stay . Overall No Frills made our holiday as we weren't very keen on our resort and they gave us the chance to see the pretty parts of the Island . Thanks again ..

  • For the second year we have used No Frills Excursions for our trips in Majorca. This year the Palmabus excursion. Excellent service and value for money. However the extra help in reserving the front seats as l am disabled when normally seats aren't reserved was a real bonus and enhanced an already excellent trip. 5 stars!!

  • We booked a day trip to Palma Aquarium was awesome. our guide Pete was fab he pointed out sights on way to aquarium, which we did not expect. Was great fun would highly recommend no frills excursions.
