This afternoon catamaran trip in Puerto Pollensa is a carefully planned 5-hour cruise that explores the most scenic areas of the Bay of Pollensa during the golden hours of the day. The excursion begins at 15:30 from the Port of Pollensa, when the temperature is pleasant and the light is ideal for enjoying the coastline.
After leaving the harbour, the Robinson Catamaran sails smoothly across the bay, offering wide panoramic views of Puerto Pollensa, the surrounding coastline and the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, which rise dramatically behind the town. Guests can relax on the nets or benches while enjoying the open views and the gentle breeze as the catamaran heads towards the quieter areas of the bay.
The route continues along the coastline, passing hidden coves and unspoilt beaches that are difficult to reach by land. These areas are known for their crystal-clear waters and natural surroundings, making them ideal spots for swimming. Throughout the afternoon, the catamaran makes several swimming stops, where you can jump straight into the sea, snorkel using the equipment provided or simply relax on board while enjoying the scenery.
One of the highlights of the itinerary is a brief stop at Formentor Beach, one of the most famous beaches in Mallorca. Here, you can step ashore to stretch your legs, enjoy the beach and take photos of the surrounding pine trees and mountains, while the crew prepares dinner on board.
After leaving Formentor, the catamaran anchors again in a quiet area of the bay, where dinner is served on board. The relaxed evening atmosphere, combined with views of the coastline and the changing light, makes this moment one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip. Following dinner, there is additional time to swim, relax or enjoy the facilities on board before the catamaran begins its return journey.
The cruise finishes with a smooth sail back to Puerto Pollensa, allowing you to enjoy the final views of the bay as the day comes to an end, completing a relaxed and memorable afternoon catamaran experience.
Customer reviews for the afternoon catamaran trip in Puerto Pollensa
Great afternoon catamaran trip in Puerto Pollensa with swimming stops and dinner on board.
We booked the Robinson Catamaran trip with NoFrills Excursions and everything went smoothly. Clear communication, great crew and a very enjoyable cruise with swimming and food included.
This afternoon catamaran trip in Puerto Pollensa was a fantastic experience. Beautiful coves, relaxed atmosphere and a lovely dinner on board. A perfect way to enjoy the bay in the afternoon.
Felt catamaran was a bit old. Didn’t have enough seating around the nets for everyone to get a chance to sit there. We also spent 1.5hrs at a beach and would have preferred to sail. The sails didn’t go up either. Shame as other trips have been good with No Frills Excursions.
Great trip. We’ve been coming to PP for over 12 years and not done anything like this. Great swim stops and good food. Would have been 5 star, had we actually been told to turn up at the correct time. One hour+ to wait in the sun is far too long. The boat departs at 3.30 (assuming on time). Arriving at 2.30 is way too early.
The boat did not stop at 4 places nor did it go past Formentor beach as said on the map. Not everything was translated from French which was the predominant group demographic.
Took the afternoon boat trip from Puerto Pollensa. Had a good time. Enjoyed the swim stops and the food was good. Only improvement would be to offer beer and wine with the meal.
Really good way to see the bay of Pollensa. Cheaper than others, 2 swim stops plus an hour at Formenta beach. Tasty chicken salad & sangria included. Fun staff as well. Would definitely recommend.
