This special boat trip has been designed exclusively for observing the total solar eclipse on 12 August 2026 in Mallorca, with every detail carefully planned to offer a comfortable, safe experience with the best possible visibility.
The excursion begins at sunset from the Port of Alcudia, where the boat sails calmly across the bay towards open sea. The goal is to reach a strategic position off Cape Formentor, one of the areas with the clearest western horizon on the island, free from buildings or obstacles that could interfere during the key moments of the eclipse.
During the journey, you can enjoy the atmosphere on board, the scenery of Mallorca’s northern coastline and the changing light of the late afternoon. Once the optimal position is reached, the boat will slow down or remain at drift, allowing for relaxed observation of the phenomenon with an unobstructed view of the sky and the sea.
Watching the eclipse from the sea allows you to experience the event without the usual limitations of land-based viewing: no crowds, no access issues, and the reassurance of being in a carefully chosen location to enjoy both totality and the eclipsed sunset. After sunset, we will begin a smooth and unhurried return to port, bringing a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience to a close.
