Join us at Nofrills Excursions on our unique full day trip to the valley of Soller and Valldemossa.
This trip will take us first to Valldemossa, where you can stroll through the peaceful cobbled streets or relax and enjoy a coffee while you devour one of the local delicacies such as the 'coca de patatas' (small potato-based sponge cake) as at this time of the day we usually have the charming town to ourselves. You can join our guide for a relaxed walk around the streets or visit at your own pace the Carthusian Monastery and the famous composer Chopin's House (entrances are not included in the price).
After Valldemossa, we board the coach for a delightful sightseeing ride through the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range which has been named world heritage site and is protected by UNESCO. We will pass the picturesque towns of Llucalcari and Deia. Have your camera ready, as our next stop is the pretty town of Soller.
The spectacular Valley of Soller is famous for its splendid orange and lemon groves, as well as its quaint, original tram ride, which is included in the price. Visiting these areas will allow you to discover the island's most natural beauty, making you fall in love with the precious landscapes you will be witnessing throughout the day.
We will arrive in Soller Valley at around 13:30. First we will visit the old village of Soller where you can take a pleasant walk to see the most important landmarks of the village such as the main square, Can Prunera Museum, Soller's modernist-style bank, the church of Soller and many more interesting places. If you like art, you can also have a look at the Picasso Ceramic Museum. We will be staying in Soller for about 90 minutes and there will be enough time for lunch (not included). In the town of Soller you will find a wide range of cafes and restaurants where you can eat anything from typical Mallorcan dishes, a menu of the day or just a quick bite.
You will also have time to relax in Soller as you enjoy an orange juice or an orange ice cream both a must in this valley famous for its delicious oranges.
At around 15:00 we will take the tram to go to Port of Soller, the tram ride takes about 25 minutes.
In the Port of Soller you will have about one hour free time so that you can stroll around and explore this charming natural port and, after visiting this place, our coach will take us back to resorts.

Booked for one, three weeks before we arrived in Puerto Pollensa, I really enjoyed the day in spite of the crowds in Valldemosa ( no fault of No Frills!) & the limited time there, in Soller and Port de Soller (all explicit when booked). It was very well organised and outgoing German guide Melanie (who explained most people on the trip were German but translated everything she said into English) & driver Loulou(?) were excellent hosts. His driving was superb, skillfully negotiating the narrow winding route to Soller and the busy autoroute back from Port de Soller. Melanie kindly checked on me when I decided to use my walking stick (decided to do for my confidence on the downhill cobbled streets in Valldemosa) & I was pleased she recommended trying an ice cream in Port de Soller - my apple strudel cone was delicious! Would highly recommend No Frills - from my initial enquiry and throughout the trip - professional, friendly and good value.
Lovely air conditioned coach with a superb driver on difficult roads (Antonio). Interesting trip and a great way to see the island. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke several languages which was impressive. A well planned tour. I was collected near our hotel at the time specified and I had only booked the day before (in October) . I would use this company again.
Although the weather was not in our favour we had a brilliant day visiting Valdemossa and Soller. Our guide Kati, was very organised, informative and humorous. Juan our coach driver showed off his driving skills perfectly navigating the narrow mountainous roads. Will highly recommend anyone visiting Majorca to consider booking a No Frills excursion.
As a family of four (children 12 & 9) we all thoroughly enjoyed this trip despite seeing all weather conditions! The tram was a highlight followed by the most delicious ice-cream in Port Soller. Thank you Cati & Juan for looking after us.
Great trip, excellent guide who gave us details and history of the island.The driver knew the roads very well and was very pleasant. The scenery was beautiful despite the rain. Overall this trip is really good value......Highly recommend.
Well organised trip. Comfortable bus. Knowledgeable guide and excellent driver. The prior description of arriving at Valldemosa at a quiet time was wildly inaccurate
Leuke tour, meer te zien dan dat er aan tijd beschikbaar is. Valldemossa is een erg fotogeniek plaatsje. Port de Soller is ook prachtig. We hebben leuke foto’s gemaakt. In Valldemossa hebben we wat gedronken, in Soller geluncht en we hebben een sinaasappel ijsje gegeten in Port de Soller. Zowel in Valldemossa als Soller kregen we 1,5 uur vrije tijd. In Port de Soller een half uurtje. Te weinig tijd om er echt van te genieten, maar dat kan niet anders als je 3 plekken bezoekt. Onderweg vanuit de bus erg genoten van de prachtige uitzichten!
Not that much free time to explore Valldemossa, Soller and Port de Soller. Also a long long busride, maybe for that they shrink time in the villages..
