Alcudia has decided to succumb to the magic of Flamenco. Even though the Balearic Islands are not a place known for the presence of this culture, the arrival of this show is no surprise as we have always had passionate flamenco artists around. Those who take part in the show are actually the third generation of singers and dancers so they lived the culture from their cribs and are ready to fascinate you as they put their hearts and soul into their performances.
One of the highlights of this experience is the location where it takes place. Alcudia’s famous bull ring. This bull ring is one of the few that still remain active in Mallorca and is visited every summer by Spain’s most famous bull fighters. The bull ring is found in a privileged scenario as from its seating area you can see the emblematic medieval walls that surround the Alcudia old town.
The show has a duration of 2 hours aprox. and it has two different parts. The first part will take about 40 minutes show and then we will do a short break for 15 minutes to have the last wine at the bar before going to the main stage. We will finish the show with a second part with all the artists together at the main stage for a 50 minute non stop Flamenco Show performing, singing and playing different palos from old traditional to modern Flamenco. The respect and passion they have for the art of flamenco will leave you stunned without a doubt. Then you will be able to feel the emotion lived by the dancers as you are dazed by both the clothing and the movements.
The entrance fee to the show gives you the opportunity to explore the bullring in depth. You will be able to see where the bulls are let out from and even stand on the same sand as the bullfighters so you can picture yourself as one of them and experience what they must feel when the ring is full and the bulls about to be let in.
