This is a great glass bottom boat trip from Can Picafort to discover the bay of Alcudia. The boat trip ifrom the port of Can Picafort takes 2 hours 30 minutes and it has offers great views of the Bay of Alcudia, and it is an ideal thing to do with families and children. The boat drives past the cliffs and small caves. You may see eagles and wild goats jumping around.
You will pass exclusive Aucanada, with its hillside of villas and its islet with the lighthouse in the middle. The boat trip will go as far as Es Coll Baix, one of Alcudia’s most stunning coves, before heading back towards the port of Alcudia. The boat trip in Alcudia Bay also includes a swimming stop for 20 minutes at Es Coll Baix beach.
On a clear day on this boat trip in Alcudia Bay, you can just make out the island of Menorca and always have your camera ready as dolphins have even been sighted on this boat trip.
Reviews for the glass bottom boat trip:
Not really a glass bottom boat. I felt this was just a ride on a boat. Certainly woul not recommended n not value for money. Very disappointed 😞
Nice trip. There was some comment on what we were seeing. The stop for a swim was nice, but short. Overall a nice trip. The glassbotom to see fish was too small and too deep to really see anything.
Good boat. Not too busy and bar snacks available. Do not expect to see anything through the glass bottom though. 2.5 hours just the right length to see some great scenery and some goats! Brief stop for a swim was enough time for a quick cool down and a couple of goes down the slide. 8 out of 10 overall.
I would not recommend this trip as a glass bottom boat, more a sightseeing boat trip. The glass bottom feature consisted of two windows recessed into the floor around a metre by half a metre in size which were useless for underwater viewing, we seen no fish or underwater life.
A nice 2.5 hour trip - the boat was comfortable and you could sit inside or outside so no need to worry about the weather. There are reasonably priced snacks on board and the crew were friendly. I wish that there could have been some kind of commentary because we had no idea what we were looking at. It would have been nice to know where we were and some of the history of the places we were seeing but there wasn’t anything (in any language)
Pleasant enough boat ride. Very hard to hear any commentary, which was very brief anyway. Didn’t tell us about the places we were passing. The swim stop was 15 minutes, not remotely long enough. And I have no idea what the point of the slow tour of Alcudia harbour was. Were we supposed to be admiring the boats or something? If you cut that bit out, you’d get a decent swim length in. It’s a lot of boat travel time for not much else. Photos, as usual, are taken and charged for - €5 each.
Fabulous scenery on the boat trip from Can Picafort
Good fun, ideal length of time with kids. Gets hot, take suncream.
Overall good but disappointed that there was no real glass bottom, just 2 shafts to peer into. And nothing to see anyway! Swim stop was nice but brief, scenery amazing :)
