On this full day excursion which includes lunch and wine, we will take you to visit places that are not very well-known or visited by tourists. These are the HIDDEN CORNERS of Mallorca: places that we, at NoFrills Excursions, know thanks to our experience.
This is an ideal excursion for those clients that already know Mallorca well and would like to take part in a new and different excursion. It is also a great opportunity for those who would simply like to get off the beaten track a little and see the most authentic and traditional side of the island.
Food, which is included in the tour, is a Mallorcan lunch in Maria de la Salut where we will have a hearty feast of typical Mallorcan ‘embutidos’. Local wine is included too.
We will visit the beautiful town of Arta, where we will give you time to wander around or enjoy the local weekly market. Arta is a stunning town with delightful shops and cafes lining its main street which is crowned by the Sant Salvador Monastery from where there are amazing views of the surrounding countryside and towns.
Later on we will visit Els Calderers, a traditional manor house in the Mallorcan countryside, which has been restored to its former glory so that visitors can see how a real working Mallorcan ‘possessió’ functioned in the olden days.
Once everybody has had lunch it will be time for our last stop: a stop at the aloe vera farm with a guided visit and the chance to test some of their products.
We are the only tour operator on the island which has created a tour like this. This is, without a doubt, a great chance to discover the real Mallorca.
The excursion starts at 09:00 and ends at around 17:00.
The pick-up point and time are confirmed to you after you have made your booking. You will be picked up at your hotel or a nearby meeting point. Once you make the reservation you will receive two emails:

Hidden Corners of Mallorca was the second trip I booked on my first time in Mallorca. I booked whilst still in the UK and Toni was very helpful on the email answering my silly questions. Although I was travelling on my own I never felt alone. The trip started at a local market with local craft stalls and local produce. Next stop was a a lovely Manor House which was very interesting. A Mallorcan lunch followed with as much alcohol as you wanted and then the trip ended with a visit to an aloe Vera farm. Thank you No Frills for a great day.
Absolutely excellent value for money For £27 each. We saw some lovely places. Had an excellent lunch ( lots of alcohol). The Aloe Vera Farm was wonderful. Also met some lovely people. Jeannine was very friendly, helpful and informative. Would really recommend.
We often travel to Puerto Pollensa and usually book a trip with cheap frills The Hidden Majorca one this time was really great. Firstly Jeannine the guide was excellent and really knowledgable. We were taken to a tiny village market and given lots of free time. We then visited Els Calderers, which is an old mansion house which dates from around 1750. Every part of this is open and is really great, the manor was totally self sufficient and the winery, granary and even the working farm is still outside. entrance fee is included in trip cost. We were then taken to a Spanish sausage making factory where we had a traditional Majorcan buffet lunch and copious bottles of as much as you could drink wine, wonderful (also included in trip price of 31 euros!!!) Finally we were taken to an Aloe Vera farm which we have to say was so interesting and not like the usual leather/olive/pearl places that excursions for some reason take you to!! So really a fantastic day out and really excellent value for money Highly recommend
Our 3rd time in Puerto Pollensa and having been on the Rural Mallorca thought we would try the new Hidden Corners. Our guide for the day on 9/6/15 was Jeannie she was very friendly and did and excellent job as she was translating in English and German. The vineyard was great the little village was beautiful and such a peaceful walk and lovely gardens. Lunch was so much fun plenty of lovely food and drink and met a great couple from Bognor could have stayed there all afternoon!! another great trip. Thanks Jeannie and the team. Visited June 2015
We took this excursion on the 16th June and , unfortunately the weather was appalling. We had an excellent lunch included and our guide, Jeannine, was excellent and did her very best to make sure that we got as much out of the trip as we could. Our disappointment was that , having taken other excursions with NoFrills and finding them top rate, the itinerary was a little lacking. I am sure that visiting the Old Town in Alcudia for the market and a brewery tour is not exactly "hidden". We did visit Victoria mountain, which was lovely, but we felt a little short-changed after that. Visited June 2015
After receiving details from Mae at the No Frills office in Puerto Pollensa we decided to experience their new Hidden Corners tour and at only €30.00pp (including a bbq lunch) it proved to be excellent value and thoroughly enjoyable, and as the itinery changes every week, you can do it more than once if staying for a fortnight. Our guide Jeannine and driver Xisco were excellent, but the highlight was the beautiful church in Pina - the ceiling is a masterpiece! And on the way back to the airport we were telling our taxi driver about it and she had no idea were Pina was, so it truly is a hidden tour. Can't wait to do another one or two next year!!
We have been on excursions with no frills excursions quite a few times so went straight to their office to book our trip this year. We were going to go on the rural mallorca again as we really enjoy this trip but this year they had a new trip called hidden corners of mallorca so we thought we would try it. We were picked up on time and was greeted by our lovely guide Janine and the driver of the coach Miguel. First we visited a local market which was really traditional was where the locals shopped rather than a tourist market. There was a lovely church which we could go in and look around.then we visited a manor house which was like stepping back in time to the 1800's really good and interesting Janine was on hand to answer any questions we had. Then we went for lunch which was typical mallorca food and plenty of wine red, or white so after a few glasses we made quite a few new friends and some old ones, turns out the last time were on the rural mallorca another couple were also on the same trip and remembered us. Next we went into the aloe Vera farm which was so Interesting the guide there was excellent there was no pressure to buy anything but we did! All in all a perfect trip with a good knowledgeable guide Janine. I would definitely recommend it. Visited October 2015
This is the 2nd holiday in Puerto Pollensa ,Majorca where we have used No frills excursions for day trips. Let me start by saying that the name may make you think that the tours are 'basic'. They are not. The tour guides are experienced and very knowledgeable. The coaches are modern and comfortable and have forward facing cameras and screens so you can see where you are going on all the scary mountain roads. They even bring umbrellas with for rainy days. The Hidden Corners tour was really good value. It was an inland tour, starting with a trip to a market and church followed by a manor house. The highlight of the trip was a traditional Mallorcan lunch (included in the price) that came with gorgeous food and copious amounts of alcohol if you wanted it. The final stop was to an Aloe Vera farm which was, actually really educational. We will definitely use them again. Visited October 2015
