  We really enjoyed this trip. The transport arrived on time and we enjoyed looking round the little zoo before the wine tasting. The wines were excellent and well chosen to compliment the cheeses. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese. It can be difficult to find wine and cheese that is artisan so these were a treat. Miguel was a great host and the staff were friendly and helpful.

  Lovely atmosphere and setting, fabulous wines and cheeses to match. Loved the time we spent finding out about Mallorcan wine and cheese. Definitely worth the trip and good value too.

  Absolutely amazing experience at the wine and cheese tasting with Miguel and his whole family. We were picked up by Miguel himself, all seamless. Brought to his family farm where you can also go horseriding plus you get to wander around their gorgeous farm and meet their 4legged family members. The wine and cheese tasting was stunning. Gorgeous wines, delicious cheese and brilliant explanation and commentary to go with it all, all the people helping to serve the wine & cheese were super friendly and full of knowledge and fun. 10/10 cannot recommend this highly enough, do yourself a favour and book this tour, you won't be sorry!

  It was a good experience and I am glad I went. It started earlier than expected, picked up at 4.45pm when information was after 6pm. People were very friendly. I was on my own and only one other on the tasting. Thankfully we chatted and had a lovely time.

  Wine tasting is something that promotes mixed feelings from everyone. You’ll either roll your eyes at the apparent pretentiousness of it all with ‘hints of strawberry and oak’ ringing in your ears, or you’ll relish the opportunity to savour new flavours, identify hidden ingredients and maybe, date the grape variety. Or, you just enjoy the taste of wine and think it might be a nice way to spend an evening? We booked this activity with no fuss and received good confirmation with an accommodating pick up point at our hotel. Driver turned up as planned, spoke excellent English and explained that we were collecting one more couple before going to the venue. Where the venue was should have been clear to me as we were picked up in a minibus with the Stables logo emblazoned on the side. And when we arrived we were immediately welcomed by Miguel who explained how the evening was going to pan out and invited us to wander around the lovely small stables with local farm animals we could interact with. We eventually sat in our own groups, couples etc and Miguel explained what was going to happen with help from the owner, his English wife (I’m sorry, I forgot her name). And this wasn’t an evening you needed to roll your eyes, or one you should waste time in trying to catch a hint of elderflower or pine as you sniff in the glass. It was simply to enjoy good wine. Miguel gave fascinating stories in the birth of the wines, how they happened and who the creators were. Then dared you to not like it! He produced 4 carefully chosen wines that complimented the evening perfectly and with the small but filling bread, pate and jams, and the local cheeses which were all wonderful, the evening came to an all too early conclusion. It was a calm, quiet and peaceful setting despite only a stones throw away from a bustling Alcudia, but with the smell of the animals and the sight of resting horses, the amusing and pleasant delivery by Miguel and the gentle Bristolian tones of his supporting wife, this was an evening that was as enjoyable as it can get.
