This excursion is the perfect opportunity to visit Rafa Nadal’s fantastic interactive museum without taking out too much time away from the pool. As it is a half day trip you will be able to have an entertaining experience leaving you time to relax back in resort around the pool or the beach.
Once we have everybody on board our air-conditioned coach we will head towards the East of the island. Upon arrival at the Rafa Nadal Sports Centre Xperience your visit will begin. The tour is divided into 3 parts being the first the Exhibition Centre where you can see:
· All Stars Room: with a unique exhibition of objects from great sportsmen and women donated to the Rafa Nadal Museum.
· Exhibition room of the Rafa Nadal Sports Xperience: a clear message of support for the projects and initiatives by the Fundación Rafa Nadal where, via interactive screens, you can learn more about the hard work carried out by the foundation.
· Rafa Nadal Trophy Room: The first and only exhibition of trophies from the best moments of Rafa Nadal's sporting career, from when he began playing tennis as a child to the present day.
· Projection Room: The latest technology in sound and film on a giant curved screen of 180 degrees where you will see an audio-visual with great moments in the history of sport told by their protagonists.
The second part of the visit is the Xperience Room, with the latest in audio-visual and touch screen technology which will allow you to be the star in your own sports simulation where each sport is related with a value or aptitude. Mountain bike, tennis, rowing, football, basketball... are just some of the sports featured in this interactive experience.
The third part is the guided visit around the Rafa Nadal Academy, where you can visit the installations and learn a bit more about this project. If you are in luck you might even be able to see Rafa Nadal training on one of the tennis courts. This is available only from May to October.
Then our coach will be waiting for you to take you back to resort.
Customers' reviews:
Inaccurate departure and arrival, but it only meant 20 minutes. Very helpful and determined tour guide. She kept us talking and telling stories. The museum was fantastic, of course we are fanatical Rafa fans. It was a great experience to see the original cups and awards and other special exhibits. What a wonderful experience it evoked in us! The museum itself is not that big and unfortunately overcrowded. Visiting the courts is not allowed, although it would be nice if the rest of the academy could be visited and one could gain an insight into its operation. The museum shop was a huge disappointment! There is little selection and few unique things to buy. For example, "Taurus" symbol was missing from almost all products. It's a waste!
Rafa nadal museum 20 th June We were welcomed and well looked after by Edurne. And well driven by Samuel..thank you She spoke to us individually about arrangements and made sure everything was clear ..even giving us phone numbers if needed. The museum visit is a must for tennis and sports fans…You can only Leave in awe of the achievements of Rafa… The sports cafe is well worth visiting .. Thank you a really good trip Sandra walton
We have done this tour a couple of years ago and really half day is NOT long enough to see everything and have lunch there , it would be much better to not have to go around this place too quickly but be able to relax a little and enjoy this wonderful place especially as we are Tennis fans. Would think it will take at least more than an hour to travel there from Puerto Pollensa so there not a lot of time to see it all and buy T shirts or mementos from the shop to take home.
