The Festa des Vermar is one of the most important and authentic traditional celebrations in Mallorca, marking the end of the grape harvest in the heart of the island’s main wine-producing region. Every year, towards the end of September, the village of Binissalem transforms into a vibrant stage of local culture, music, wine and tradition, attracting residents from all over the island.
On this excursion, we travel by air-conditioned coach through the Mallorcan countryside, surrounded by vineyards and rural landscapes, until we reach the centre of Binissalem. You will be dropped off close to the main square, where the festival unfolds, allowing you to move freely through the streets and immerse yourself in the celebrations at your own pace.
One of the main highlights of the Vermar Fiesta is the procession of decorated floats, where locals dressed in traditional Mallorcan costumes parade through the streets accompanied by live music and folk dances. Throughout the town, you will find wine barrels placed in the main square, where you can fill your glass and taste local wines provided by the town council, as well as stalls selling local products made from grapes, such as jams, cakes and traditional sweets.

Attending the Binissalem Wine Festival was an amazing experience and a real highlight of our trip to Mallorca.
